The best possible color results can perform for many years with proper care but may begin to fade over time without it. The amount of time required for this depends on the person.

While permanent makeup pigment remains in the dermis, its beauty span may be influenced by several possible factors. Those factors can be environmental, procedural, and/or individual factors. Sun exposure fades color and should be avoided after having permanent makeup. The amount and color of pigment deposit at the dermal level can affect the length of time that permanent makeup looks its best. Very natural-looking applications are likely to require a touch-up before more dramatic applications for this reason.

Individual influences include lifestyles that find an individual in the sun regularly, such as gardening or swimming. Skin tones are also a factor in color value changes over time.

During cosmetic implantation, particles of pigment are implanted into the dermal layer of the skin. There are several methods of permanent makeup used today, including traditional tattooing machines, pens, rotary machines, and manual hand applicators. Steps are taken to ensure procedures are as comfortable for the client, as possible. Although everyone's tolerance level is different, most clients agree, permanent makeup procedures are far more comfortable than anticipated. Your comfort and safety are of the utmost importance.

Strict sanitation and sterilization guidelines are followed in accordance with the CDC (Center for Disease Control). Single-use sterile needles are used with each application.

Everyone’s healing process can look a little different. Some may notice minor swelling for a couple of days, but in most cases, you will look as if you may have been crying for a while or fighting off allergies.

Swelling will usually only last for a day or two and can be controlled with a cool compress for 10 minutes, every hour, for the first 48 hours. This will help aid in the healing process, along with the ointment you will be given. It is to be applied twice daily, for 10 days after the appointment. Also during those 10 days, you are not to apply makeup, no tanning, and no overexposure to heat or water. The more diligent you are with the aftercare, the better your beautiful eyeliner will heal.

The swelling will subside differently for everyone, time and following aftercare will aid this. You will have a follow-up appointment 5 weeks after your procedure, for your touch-ups and anything else that may need to be addressed. At this time, you will be completely healed and your permanent cosmetics will look beautiful
