Sun exposure fades colour and should be avoided after having perment makeup. The amount and colour of pigment deposit at the dermal level, can affect the length of time that permanent makeup looks its best. Individual influences include lifestyles that find an individual in the sun regularly, such as with gardening or swimming. Skin tones are also a factor in colour value changes over time. During cosmetic implantation, particles of pigment are implanted into the dermal layer of the skin. There are several methods of permenaent makeup used today, including traditional tattooing machines, the pen, rotary machines, and manual hand applicators. Steps are taken to ensure procedures are as comfortable for the client as possible. Although everyone's tolerance level is different, most clients agree, permanent makeup procedures are far more comfortable than anticipated. Your comfort and safety are of the utmost importance. Strict sanitation and sterilization guidelines are followed in accordance with the CDC (Center for Disease Control). Single-use sterile needles are used with each application.
Everyone’s healing process can look a little different. Some may notice minor swelling for a couple days, but in most cases you will look as if you may have been crying for a while or fighting off allergies. Swelling will usually only last for a day or two and can be controlled with a cool compresses for 10 minutes, every hour, for the first 48 hours. This will help aid in the healing process, along with the ointment you will be given. It is to be applied twice daily, for 10 days after appointment. Also during those 10 days, you are not to apply make up, no tanning, and no over exposure to heat or water. The more diligent you are with the aftercare, the better your beautiful eyeliner with heal. The swelling will subside differently for everyone, time and following after care will aid this. You will have a follow-up appointment 5 weeks after you’re procedure, for your touch ups and anything else that may need to be addressed. At this time, you will be completely healed and your permanent cosmetics will look beautiful!
