What should i expect?

Microblading treatment is truly revolutionary, I create your brows, strand by strand, resulting in the most natural-looking brows. Creating 3D results, perfectly filled in symmetrical brows. Brow shapes and color are custom to your facial structure and preference. There is no downtime however, brows will take about two weeks to fully heal. Brows may appear darker following procedure, but will then lighten to the desired color within two weeks. Between the initial treatment and 5 week Perfecting Session, you may experience peeling (typically noticeable only up close) and fading of the brow. This is expected and a natural part of the treatment process. The Perfecting Session will build on the color that has already been absorbed into the skin, leaving you with beautiful brows!

Permanent Cosmetics Techniques;

Microblading and Rottery, is a Permanent, semi-permanent makeup procedure that allows you to dramatically correct or fully reconstruct eyebrows due to hair loss. Eyebrow Microblading is performed by manually depositing pigment in the basal layer of the epidermis, using a special pen. Microblading does not involve the use of a machine; unlike most common permanent makeup brow treatments. The Microblading technique involves drawing, individual, crisp hair strokes that are more natural looking than tattooing, brow pencils or powders. The blade of the Microblading pen, contains numerous pins that are 3 times thinner than the needles used for tattooing. When performed correctly, microblading is near painless. Numbing creams are used to minimize any possible discomfort.

How Long Does Microblading & Permanent Cosmetics Last?

Results will last for up to 1-5 years, following post-care guidelines, and clients skin type. Microblading can last anywhere from 1-3 years Permanent Cosmetics can last 3 to 5 yrs all depending on lifestyle. Color will gradually lighten and soften due to UV sun exposure. Anti-aging skin products should be avoided in the brow area. Proper maintenance and following post-care guidelines, is recommended to increase the longevity of your brow color.

Before My Procedure

1. You may wear makeup if desired, and bring with you your favorite brow products.

2. If any tweezing or waxing is to be done, these should be completed no earlier than 72 hours prior to your appointment. Electrolysis should be done no earlier than 7 days prior to your procedure. Do NOT resume any method of hair removal for 14 days following procedure.

3. If you have lash extensions, please have them removed minimum 5 days before an eyeliner procedure.

4. If eyebrows are normally tinted, have this done no less than 72 hours of your procedure. 5. If you wear contact lenses and are having eyeliner done, do NOT wear your lenses to your appointment, bring glasses. You will NOT be able to replace your contacts for 24-48 hours after your procedure.

6. Do not take aspirin, blood thinning medications or drink excessive amounts of alcohol or coffee, 48 hours before your procedures scheduled date.

7. I f you are pregnant or breast feeding, permanent cosmetics procedures are not recommended. If you keloid with tattoos permanent cosmetics and microblading are not recommended as this can cause permanent damage to the skin.

After My Procedure

Always wash your hands before doing any after-care.

Day 1: Wipe your treated area 1 to 2 hours after procedure, with a cold, lightly-damp sterile cloth. Your brows post-Microblading/Permanent Cosmetics will produce yellowish/clear fluid. Which is Lymphatic Liquid (plasma) this is totally normal as your skin is trying to heal itself, wipe again in the evening before bed, wipe again in the morning.

Day 2: Let brows heal and seal in color for the next 3 days, keep area dry and protected. Day 3-10: If brows start to scab and are becoming flakey, apply a very small amount of ointment, only when needed. Once applied, wipe off ointment with a lightly damp paper towel leaving only a light residue, keeping the area slightly moist reducing itching and scabbing (Remember only if needed, do NOT over lubricate).

KEEP AREA DRY! AVOID: hot steamy showers, do not expose treated area to high pressure water, hot tubs, physical sweating, hot yoga, chlorine pools, all forms of tanning. Also, do not sleep and rub your face on your pillow, this is very important during this time when you must protect the scab the most.

Please be patient and allow your Permanent Cosmetics to heal! Proper care is essential to achieve beautiful brows! Please keep in mind: color intensity will be sharper, brighter, darker and somewhat larger due to swelling. It will take a minimum of 10-14 days for this transition, and for the true color and shape to appear. There will be a 20% - 50% change to lightening/softening for brows. In some cases there will be missed spots or unevenness of pigment, don’t be alarmed! This is the best time for you to critique any color or design changes prior to our touch up. Touch-ups are scheduled 5 weeks after our first appointment.
